Careers

A Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree provides you with a many career possibilities. Potential careers can vary from medicine and rehabilitation sciences to sports marketing and teaching. The possibilities seem endless and can be at times, overwhelming. Exploring multiple careers in different fields of interest will allow you to identify what it is you value in a work environment, enabling you to narrow your options and thus, make the best choice for you about your career path.

There are many employment opportunities for you on campus and in the community, part-time or full-time and it is important to get experience (both volunteer and employment) in your ideal field. Exploring your potential career field is essential to deciding whether  that area is aligned with your own personal goals and values, in addition to gaining the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes for becoming a successful professional in the area.  Once experienced, you become a leader in that field and can begin to engage in opportunities that will continue to enhance your personal and professional development.
